ARE YOU LICENSED?
Yes. My practice is based in Virginia and I possess an active license, as a Clinical Psychologist in both Virginia and Illinois.
Under the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), I am authorized to provide telehealth services in 29 additional states including D.C., Maryland and West Virginia. A complete list of states covered under PSYPACT is available here.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
I offer appointments between 11AM to 6PM Tuesday through Friday and Saturdays 10AM to 4PM.
HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU OFFER ME AN INITIAL APPOINTMENT?
I can usually offer an initial appointment within one week.
MAY I BE SEEN IN PERSON?
I am only offering telehealth services at this time.
MAY I HAVE A STANDING APPOINTMENT?
Yes. All of my scheduling in done online. Through the client portal, you may schedule multiple appointments up to 6 months in the future.
HOW CAN I CONTACT YOU BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS?
You may leave a confidential voice mail for me at 703-705-2922. I will return your call at my earliest opportunity; usually within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you must cancel a scheduled appointment, kindly provide 24 hours notice. A late cancellation fee of $50 will be charged for same day cancellations.
WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?
Payment is required at the time of service. I currently accept debit/credit card payments only.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
The fee for an initial consultation is $235. The fee for individual psychotherapy is $200 and for couple/marital is $250. I will file for you with the insurances I accept or provide you will a superbill that you can submit to your insurance to reimburse your out-of-network costs.

Consistent with Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, individuals without insurance or choosing to self-pay, will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate at the initial appointment and upon request.

DO YOU ACCEPT MY INSURANCE?

WILL YOU FILE WITH MY INSURANCE OR DO I?
I will file for reimbursement from your insurance company. If you prefer to submit your own claims, I will provide you with a super bill upon request.
DO YOU OFFER SERVICES ON A SLIDING SCALE?
No, I am not able to offer reduced fees.
DO YOU CONDUCT VETERANS ADMINISTRATION (VA) DISABILITY EXAMS?
Yes, I will conduct the examination, complete the DBQ and submit it to the VA for you; typically, within 24 hours of the examination.
DO YOU PRESCRIBE MEDICATION?
No, however I work closely with a psychiatrist and would be happy to facilitate an appointment for you. If you prefer, I am happy to coordinate/consult with your primary care physician around issues of medication.
